Know how to leave even the most casual, undemanding audience of horror fans totally unsatisfied? Don't even bother giving your movie an ending.

Though this low-budget found footage horror flick marketed itself perfectly to the Friday night teen crowd, even they couldn't stomach its insulting ending, where the movie leaves its characters' fates on a cliffhanger as viewers are directed to a website to find out more information about the case.

There are a few mildly effective moments throughout and the acting is far better than the material deserves, but the frequent utterances of "Connect the cuts!" are more funny than frightening, and it's ultimately all overshadowed by that atrocious ending anyway.

It is, however, by far the most profitable film on this list, grossing an insane $101.8 million against a mere $1 million price tag. That's what's really scary here.
