Every Philip Seymour Hoffman Movie Ranked Worst To Best

13. Freddie Miles - The Talented Mr Ripley (1999)

Phillip Seymour Hoffman Doubt
Miramax

The Talented Mr Ripley is Matt Damon's film through and through, but it wouldn't be complete without Hoffman's crass playboy Freddie Miles. For Miles, everything is about sex and money and an elite lifestyle, and Hoffman plays into his eccentric oddities and sinister charm with ease and passion.

Mr Ripley makes for a wild ride, rife with violence and brilliant plot twists, and the magnetic allure of the film wouldn't be as strong if Hoffman was missing.
