Every Pixar Villain Ranked From Worst To Best
6. Hopper (A Bug's Life)
Kevin Spacey may be trash, but that does nothing to undermine the brilliance of his performance as A Bug's Life's terrifying, tyrannical grasshopper leader Hopper.
In fact, so horrible is Hopper - between his pathological disgust for ants and sheer greed to siphon their resources - that he effortlessly overshadows every single other character in the movie.
Hopper is A Bug's Life, really - a pillar of all-consuming hatred which helps unite the ants against him. Though a relatively familiar dictator archetype, Hopper is lent dimension through the fact he's scarcely nicer to his own "kind," and Spacey's superbly imposing performance.
Plus, he's got one of the best deaths of any Pixar villain, being picked up by a bird and fed to its hungry newborn chicks. Ewww.
