Every Pokemon Movie Ranked Worst To Best

5. Zoroarkā€”Master Of Illusions

Having played out two damp squibs, Zoroark gave the Diamond and Pearl run a high to go out on, with this particularly impressive affair that sees Ash and company tangled up in the affairs of a high-powered businessman who can see into the future - and will stop at nothing to maintain his unique visions.

Like Lucario and The Mystery of Mew before it, Master of Illusions draws its focus onto a more personal struggle featuring a then-unreleased, non-Legendary Pokemon in a starring role, which further grounded it with an emotional payoff. It also served as a throwback to tie in with the HeartGold and SoulSilver remakes, bringing Celebi, Entei and Suicune back to the fray while giving Raikou his first major film appearance.

Something of a culture vulture, Mr Steel can historically be found in three places; the local cinema, the local stadium or the local chip shop. He is an avowed fan of franchise films, amateur cricket and power-chords.
