39. Saw II - The Razor Box

Trap: Saw II's main game takes place in a house full of nerve gas and traps - the victims were tasked with finding the antidotes, many of which were in traps. One such antidote was in this glass box, where the hand-holes were lined with razor blades.

One of the reasons that Saw II loses momentum in its second half is that the smaller traps in the Nerve Gas House become increasingly repetitive and this was very much the case with the Razor Box.

Yes, it was disturbing and it makes you squirm, but it was also rushed and there was no explanation as to who the trap was for and how it was to be survived. Additionally, Addison (Emanuelle Vaugier), the person who ultimately fell victim to this trap, deciding to put both hands in the box is possibly the dumbest decision in any Saw film.
