Every Saw Trap Ranked From Worst To Best

32. Saw VI - The Reverse Beartrap (Hoffman)

Trap: In order to stop his murders, Jill tried to kill Hoffman with the trap. Hoffman survived by putting the trap between two window bars just before it opened. The trap still ripped his cheek open though.

This was a good call-back to the franchise's most iconic trap.

It's definitely the weakest trap in a Saw film full of incredible ones, but this was still a well-done scene that gets raised up by both Jill's satisfying character change from bystander to avenger and the enormously smart way in which Hoffman survives what is supposed to be an inescapable trap.
