Every Saw Trap Ranked From Worst To Best

26. Saw II - Magnum Peephole

Trap: A note left in the room where the test subjects in the Nerve Gas House woke up warned them not to use a key on a certain door. They ignored this warning and when test subject Xavier turned the key, it set off the revolver mounted on the other side of the door which shot fellow test subject Gus (Tony Nappo) through the eye.

This death scene was a short, sharp and thoroughly effective shock. It's a shame it was given away in the film's trailer, but even when you know what's coming it's still jolting and gruesome. The gore effects are brilliantly horrific too.
