Every Steven Spielberg Movie Ranked From Worst To Best

When the hell are we getting that Tintin sequel, Steve? When? Though it was a surprisingly modest success at the box office, The Adventures of Tintin captures the fun and thrills of Hergé's source material, even if its plot and characters are forever at the service of the - admittedly jaw-dropping - visual effects.

Still, the script crackles thanks to an array of pithy dialogue from the pens of Edgar Wright and Joe Cornish, not to mention a game ensemble cast, best of all Andy Serkis as Captain Haddock. And the visuals? What visuals! The central chase sequence is worth the price of admission alone, to say nothing of how well the movie generally vaults over the uncanny valley.

As Spielberg's only fully-animated effort to date, it's yet further proof of the man's insanely multi-faceted talents.
