And just a hair ahead of Nuclear Man we have another Superman IV baddie - Lex Luthor's goofball nephew Lenny (Jon Cryer).

As Lex's bumbling assistant, Lenny isn't an out-and-out villain - and Supes even takes pity on him at the end of the movie - but he's still fallen in with the Big Bad.

He's less of a joke than Nuclear Man, albeit only just, but you're left continually questioning why anybody thought that Lex Luthor needed a nephew at all. Was it a cynical attempt to rope in younger audiences?

At least Cryer got to redeem himself more recently, playing Lex Luthor in the Arrowverse to solid acclaim.
