Every Upcoming MCU Movie & TV Show CONFIRMED So Far
13. Doctor Strange And The Multiverse Of Madness
Release Date: 25th March 2022
With Benedict Cumberbatch and Elisabeth Olsen both returning for the Doctor Strange sequel, and the movie set to be the franchise's scariest movie to date, the Multiverse of Madness seems all but guaranteed to be a home run for Marvel Studios - but it has not been without its controversies.
When the movie was first announced, Scott Derrickson was confirmed to return to the director's chair, but has since left due to creative differences. Though this was concerning at first, it appears to have been a blessing in disguise as Sam Raimi will now take his place.
While this is far from confirmation of a live action Spider-Verse of sorts, the most recent rumours have spoken of alternative versions of the Avengers throughout the multiverse. If Tom Cruise does indeed star as another world's Tony Stark, what's to stop Tobey Maguire suiting up as Spider-Man beside him?
