Every Zack Snyder Movie Ranked From Worst To Best
9. Justice League
The 2017 Justice League gets included on this list with a huge asterisk, given that Snyder's own recent four-hour corrective confirms just how much of the original release was indeed re-shot by Joss Whedon.
Justice League 2017 is what happens when a studio loses confidence in a visionary filmmaker and, following the disappointment of Batman v Superman, tries to MCU-ify the DC Extended Universe in a blind panic.
Hiring Whedon makes a lot of sense in that regard, though there's little denying that his version of Justice League is a blandly sanitised hodgepodge.
Even if you can get over Henry Cavill's distractingly uncanny CGI jawline, the Whedon Cut is a superhero epic both boring and breathless, sprinting through crucial character development in a quest to reach the action sequences as fast as possible.
It is a film that felt held together with duct tape when it first came out, but in light of Snyder's full vision being released, its many flaws are now even more apparent.
