1. It Shoots September Potentially For A 2019 Release

Despite the executives over at WB being unsure which movies to push ahead with, figuring out which of their seemingly endless amount of projects they actually want to get into production, the Joker origin movie has surprisingly been fast tracked, currently set to begin shooting before the year is out in September.

In a surprising move, however, it's going into production without a set release date. In an era where a cinema date comes before a story or a director, it's refreshing to see a studio step back and focus on making the film as good as it can be, rather than simply getting it finished in time for a date it had set way in advance.

Still, the timing of the filming suggests that a late 2019 release is likely, potentially to close out the year following DCEU instalments like Shazam and Wonder Woman 84. And hey, who knows, if it ends up being as good as it sounds, it could be in the perfect position to sweep up some award nominations in the following months.
