Evil Dead: 10 Suggestions For The Franchise Moving Forward

1. Give Raimi The Last Word

Sam Raimi Bruce Campbell Evil Dead Which brings us to the concluding point of today's exercise: Sam Raimi created The Evil Dead franchise, and to a certain extent it created his career. Both have been good to each other over the years, and while they may have made some missteps along the way, there's still a good amount of respect for both the creator and his creation. Which is why Raimi needs to ultimately have final decision on all the major franchise moves to be made. He should be working with Fede Alvarez, so as to incorporate the new lore into the official canon, but he should also be allowed final say as to how this story should end. There has been plenty of Evil Dead projects between Army of Darkness and the new remake, but with Raimi making the final choice on the series' fate locks in a definitive continuity and ultimately honors the original in the best way possible.
