Ewan McGregor In Talks For JACK THE GIANT KILLER

Bryan Singer is putting together an impressive cast for his 3D action, fantasy epic Jack the Giant Killer. We already know Nicholas Hoult leads as the farm boy title character in the dark re-telling of the Jack and the Beanstalk fable, with Stanley Tucci tapped to play the evil king villain, and with Bill Nighy and John Kassir as the two-headed leader of the giants! Now The Hollywood Reporter tell us Ewan McGregor is in talks to join the cast, most likely as the King's head of security. Adelaide Kane (Power Rangers) and Eleanor Tomlinson (Alice in Wonderland) are now fighting over the princess, love interest role - i.e. the damsel in distress who Jack is trying to save but which threatens the uneasy peace between humans and giants. Production on the New Line film begins in a few weeks in London.
