The culture of audience reaction videos are generally restricted to horror movies that insistently push the fact that they definitely are scary (it is after all the only currency that actually matters to that genre), but that shouldn't necessarily be the case. How many times has a film made you feel appalled, shocked, elated or horrified without you expecting it? The reality is that the exchange of feelings is exactly what film-making is about at its purest level.
