The Expendables 3: 10 Action Behemoths The Franchise Is Still Missing
4. Tony Jaa
Until recently, martial artist Tony Jaa strictly worked on films made in his native Thailand. However, worldwide audiences have been floored by Jaa's incredibly lithe and innovative fight scenes in movies like Ong-Bak and The Protector. After more than a decade of remaining outside American action films, Jaa has finally taken part in Hollywood productions with a role in next year's Fast & Furious 7. Jaa handpicked Dolph Lundgren to co-star in his next Thai movie A Man Will Rise, and then returned the favour by agreeing to co-star in Lundgren's Skin Trade. While neither film has been released yet, it's clear that Lundgren and Jaa have established a working relationship. Hopefully that means Lundgren will call Jaa up when Expendables 4 is looking for cast members. The prospect of Jet Li and Tony Jaa in the same movie is just too awesome not to be realised. His influence on the films choreography would also up everyone's game and will probably challenge the older guys to try a few new moves.
