Fantastic 4 Reboot: 10 Things We Already Know

4. It's Been Made FAST

Principal photography for this movie commenced on May the 5th of 2014 at Celtic Media Centre in Baton Rouge, Louisiana and ended on the August the 23rd of 2014. As if there weren't enough concerns about this movie, the fact it took less than four months to complete filming doesn't exactly sound like the makings of a thorough project. Of course, post-production continues to this day, but the fact that the casting wasn't even complete until the end of April and filming was finished four months later makes the whole thing seem very, very rushed. It could just be a rare case of actors performing at the top of their game and filming being completed swiftly as a result, but it's still a very short amount of time to complete a blockbuster movie (bear in mind, for example, that Avengers: Age of Ultron took seven months to film).
