2. Is That Fawkes?

So, part of the whole DumbleCredence thing is that a phoenix will appear to any member of the Dumbledore family in need - except Albus Dumbledore when he's literally dying of a curse, even though Fawkes' tears can LITERALLY heal fatal injuries - and that's how we know Credence is Aurelius for certain.

The suggestion now, of course, is that this phoenix is Fawkes, since phoenixes are super rare and there isn't another one kicking about by the time Dumbledore has Fawkes in the Potter timeline. Presumably, at some point in the future, Fawkes will align himself with Albus when he is in need (no prizes for guessing that will probably be when he's fighting Grindelwald).

It would be too much for a second phoenix to manifest for Albus when Aurelius already has his. Unless Rowling is planning some unbridled phoenix on pheonix action at some point? God knows what she's capable of as a writer now, to be honest.
