2. The Fan-Baiting Makes It Too Easy For Cynics

For most fans of the Wizarding World, the opportunity to see Hogwarts again as the first image in the trailer should be cause for whooping and air-punching - and likewise the familiar theme music at the end of the trailer, but, objectively, you can see why there might be some cynicism aimed at the decision.

Anyone who wants to knock these films down will see that as a cynical cash-grab and an attempt to make this a Harry Potter film by another name. It's ridiculous logic (mostly because this IS a Harry Potter film by another name), but you can see it all over the Internet reactions already. There are accusations of Warner Bros' "reappropriating" key elements from Potter to make sure this film does huge financial numbers.

And though it's silly, maybe not starting with Hogwarts and actually focusing on the star of this series - Eddie Redmayne's Newt Scamander - might have attracted less cynicism.
