2. The Costumes

Certain cast members have described the Fantastic Four's costumes as "containment suits" and the teaser trailer made it clear that that is exactly what they are. At this very early stage in their existence, it's obvious that they aren't publicly recognised superheroes, and you have to imagine that the government will do their utmost to keep them isolated and a secret. That won't make for much fun for the franchise moving forwards however. Instead, it seems far more likely that they will somehow be publicly outed by the time the movie ends. That's really a best case scenario, and with fans critical so far about the lack of comic book elements in this reboot, finishing things with them donning costumes closer to the classic blue versions (emblazoned with the "4" logo) would make even them happy. This sort of scenario would also be similar to the Ultimate retelling of their origin. However, them remaining a secret or under the employment of the government is a definite possibility. This new Fantastic Four could be a team of adventurers, but not a team of superheroes. As of right now, the former lines up with what has been revealed so far.
