Fantastic Four Reboot: 10 Ways To Guarantee It Won't Suck

5. Make Doctor Doom A Better Villain

Doctor Doom was a terrible, terrible villain in the other films. He was about as scary as Krang in Teenage Mutant Hero Turtles. Julian McMahon tried, he really did. But the writing was just god-awful and made Doctor Doom into a caricature of what he should have been. The fact that this guy is bad-ass enough to take on Spider-Man, Iron Man, The Avengers, The X-Men, Blade and Punisher should mean he's one of the most terrifying and scary villains in the universe, not just an emo bloke in a metal mask. If the producers were to cast someone who can actually act in the role, say Benedict Cumberbatch, Stanley Tucci or Sharlto Copley, the film would, without a doubt, hugely benefit from it. They just need to make him petrifying, not saccharine.
