Fantastic Four Reboot Casting: 5 Actors That Would Make It Perfect

4. Ben Grimm: Jeffrey Dean Morgan (in human form and as Thing€™s voice) Thing: CGI

Ben Grimm is a New York born and bred street tough. He had a rough childhood growing up in Manhattan€™s Lower East Side. Growing up with poverty and hardship shaped Grimm into a hardened stoic man. Literally, he believes if you want to fix something, clobber it. He€™s all about brute strength and power. Jeffery Dean Morgan is perfect for this performance. He€™s widely known for his roles on Supernatural, Watchmen, where he€™s great as The Comedian, and currently on the Starz series Magic City. His performance as The Comedian shows that he can portray that big tough guy; someone€™s who€™s not afraid of violence and brutality. The Thing is all about €œClobberin Time!€ Also, The Thing is a bit of a cynic at times as is The Comedian. Morgan can easily depict that. The Thing is prone to fits of rage. This rage triggered by his gruesome appearance and the fact that Reed Richards can€™t reverse it. Morgan, in many roles, has displayed his ability to incorporate and express great anger with his characters. A lot of his roles are that of characters who are inclined to to having a temper. Also, he has the voice, demeanor and size for the part. Morgan will appear in The Possession and Red Dawn this year. Notable Mention: Joel Edgerton
