Fantastic RUBBER Poster By Legendary Artist Boris Vallejo

Now, there's a good chance you may not have heard of Rubber, or even seen the trailer for director/musician Quentin Dupieux's bizarre little movie that's set in the Californian desert and follows a psychic killer tyre called 'Robert' who has a taste for exploding peoples heads. The rather insane little film made its festival debut last year and instantly became a cult classic with some loving it's weirdness and some hating it for the same reason. Twitch called it;
"intellectual wankery of the highest order in the sheepskin of a B-film of the lowest order"
Well, whatever it's quality distributor Magnet are going the right way about selling it. Take a look at this gorgeous, funny, cracker of a poster by classic movie poster and fantasy artist Boris Vallejo, famed for his muscled characters in various states of undress. Here he gives the titular tyre Robert centre stage with a girl draped sexily off his er...rim... In case you're wondering why you recognise the style, it's probably because you've seen his work countless times before, perhaps in one of these; Director Quentin Dupieux isn't too keen though. Tweeting his disapproval;
€œI f**ing hate the poster they use on Itunes US right now. They f**ed me. That€™s not my movie. F**k them ! Don€™t buy RUBBER !€
Rubber stars Stephen Spinella, Roxane Mesquida, Jack Plotnick, and Wings Hauser and will be released by Magnet in US cinemas on April 1. In the U.K. - a very select theatrical tour is planned...
