Faris, Liotta & Pena to OBSERVE & REPORT
Seth Rogen leads as a mall cop in the comedy which begins production this week.
A noticeably un-Judd Apatow like trio have joined Observe & Report, the soon to be filming Seth Rogen comedy which suprisingly is not written by his good pal and frequent collabroator. The Hollywood Reporter say Anna Faris, Michael Pena and Ray Liotta will co-star with Rogen who plays a deluded head of mall security who squares off in a turf war against local cops. I know, it doesn't sound the least bit interesting does it? Faris will play the salesgirl at the mall who Rogen lusts over, Pena is second in command at the mall security and Liotta for the 100th time in his career is a detective. Production begins this week under the direction of writer/director Jody Hill (the much lauded The Foot Fist Way).
