23. Dante Tries To Blow Up The Vatican
The movie's first major action sequence also happens to be its best, when Dante lures Dom and his crew to Rome, where Dante plans to detonate a spherical neutron bomb at The Vatican.
"We're going to Hell," Dante quips as the bomb rolls around the city's streets, all while the Family desperately attempts to bring it to a stop before it can reach its historically significant destination.
Things only get hairier once the bomb obliterates a gas pump and gets set on fire, almost killing Little Nobody (Scott Eastwood) in the process.
After a lengthy chase, Dom finally manages to avert disaster by driving into a crane, which catapults a giant concrete block into the bomb's path, diverting it into the River Tiber, where it detonates.
According to news reports the blast causes zero casualties - a tough statistic to believe given the sheer size and might of the explosion.
