What Your Favourite Marvel Movie Says About You

3. Thor: The Dark World (2013)

The Movie: Loki fanatics flocked to cinemas last winter to see Alan Taylor's sequel to the Thunder God's first movie and fortunately, The Dark World improved upon its predecessor in every way. Oh yeah, Thor was pretty cool in it too. The story follows the two half-brothers as they team up to to stop Malekith from plunging the universe into darkness with the help of his Dark Elves. Racist fantasy aside, the Game of Thrones director does an admirable job of building the world of Asgard with epic action scenes and more believable characterization. What It Says About You: Kat Dennings is hilarious in this movie and you'll fight anyone who says otherwise. You were almost too excited when Thor rode the Underground and now you finally have a valid reason for that day you were late to work. You love Thor, but you cheered a little inside when Loki betrayed him. You're happy Natalie Portman was actually given a character of sorts in this movie, but you care more about the brotherly love between Thor and Loki than any romantic entanglement with Jane Foster. The Captain America cameo made you squeal and clap like an over-excited seal. You fully endorse The Dark World subtitle, in case people became confused and suspected that this sequel may actually be lighter than its predecessor. Soundbite: "Idris Elba is great and all, but he needs to stop his damn moaning pretty soon or he's gonna find a hammer shaped print in his ass!" Favorite Movies: Beowulf (2007), The Lord Of The Rings: The Return Of The King (2003)
