Marvel Studios

Robert Downey Jr. has been on cinema screens since he was a child. Many movie lovers have seen him go from his teenage years in Weird Science, to taking on Lewis Strauss in Christopher Nolan's epic Oppenheimer.

Downey has played all kinds of different roles, from iconic actor Charlie Chaplin, to taking on a journalist at the heart of a real-life murder mystery in Zodiac. Of course, for many, RDJ is most recognisable as the leader of the Avengers, Tony Stark.

As Iron Man, Downey kicked off the beginning of what was to become one of the biggest franchises in history. The Marvel Cinematic Universe may not have become the juggernaut it nowadays is without Robert Downey Jr. embodying the "genius, billionaire, playboy, philanthropist".

With the New Yorker being a part of cinema for so long, it takes a true fan of his movies to be able to identify them by just one image. This quiz contains 12 still shots from the films of Downey, and all you need to do is correctly name each of them.
