9. Chad Donella
The first of Final Destination's now infamous death scenes (not counting the initial premonition that started Death's quest for bloody vengeance) belongs to character Todd Wagner, played by Chad Donella.
The best friend of lead Alex, Todd is caught in Death's unforgiving grasp in a physically improbable death scenes, in which he slips on water that Death has leaked underfoot, falls into a clothing line, and is unable to escape strangulation. In a series filled with intrinsic death sequences, this one stands out as perhaps being one of the hardest to buy into.
Nevertheless, Donella has made a consistent habit of appearing in some of America's longest running shows, namely CSI and its counterpart CSI: Miami, NCIS, Monk, Ghost Whisperer, and Law & Order: SVU.
Donella also made an appearance in a similarly violent franchise, appearing in SAW 3D in the role of Matt Gibson. His death in this franchise was more by the numbers, being gunned down by a sentry turret.
Donella's most recent credit is for the recurring role of Jake Keaton in Blindspot, working on the show for four years, from 2016 to its final season in 2020.
