In just under two months, the Skywalker Saga will apparently be ending (unless Disney decide there's just too much money to be made in it and end up reneging on their "promise", anyway) and we now have the final step in the marketing for that last chapter. Well, aside for the presumably countless TV Spots and international teasers that add more spoilers than they're worth.

The final trailer for The Rise Of Skywalker - which is still not the best title, but we have to live with it - was just released in the prime Monday Night Football slot, with fans around the world eagerly awaiting new footage. And thankfully, it's not just a retread of recycled footage that we've already seen.

There's definitely a sense that JJ Abrams is going for the fans here, what with the combination of the famous, evocative music, the abundance of hero shots and teases of some seriously impressive set-pieces and the overall feel is of a gorgeous looking film. The plot remains a little obscure for now, but in this era of spoilers, perhaps that's something to be cherished?

Those shots of the TIE Fighters and the Falcon surrounded by ships are obvious, immediate stand-outs, but there's a lot to process in there.
