Finding Dory: 26 Easter Eggs & References You Must See

Dory's adventure through the pipes to get to quarantine (with the help of Bailey the Beluga whale and Destiny the whale shark) is a highlight of the last act as Dory tries to overcome her condition and navigate a particularly tough labyrinth to get to where she thinks her parents are.

As she's being directed through the pipes by Bailey - using his sonar "vision" - Dory is revealed to be not alone. And in Bailey's sonar view, we see her heading directly towards an unknown blob on the radar, just like the tense scene in Alien when Dallas is guided through the air shafts of the Nostromo by Ripley, with aliens closing in on the radar.
