First look at Peter Jackson's THE LOVELY BONES!

The movie has been wrapped for a good while, and finally Peter Jackson has decided that today is the day to start leaking some images from his upcoming film The Lovely Bones, a drama adapted from Alice Sebold's popular novel. Empire were first, with an image of Saorise Ronan as Susie Salmon, the 14-year-old girl from Pennsylvanian girl who is murdered and narrates the film from heaven as she watches over how her community and how her absence has effected the people we knew her. 33340 Meanwhile, USA Today carry the image of a distraught looking Stanley Tucci, who plays the killer. lovelybonesx-large Also with major roles in the film are Mark Wahlberg, Rachel Weisz and Susan Sarandon as her parents and grandmother respectively. The first image is our first hint at what Peter Jackson's vision of heaven will look in the movie. Hopefully it won't be that restrictive and having not read the novel, I have no idea whether the girl's heaven is basically just clouds. Dreamworks bring the movie to theares on Dec. 11th.
