Cogan's Trade, the heist movie that re-unites Pitt with actors Casey Affleck (though there's word he might have dropped out) & Sam Rockwell with their Assassination of Jesse James By The Coward Robert Ford director Andrew Dominik. The image was taken today, Tuesday 8th March in New Orleans, Louisiana. In the Ocean's Eleven (but more serious) style high-stakes thriller, Pitt plays Jackie Cogan is a professional enforcer who investigates a heist that went down during a mob-protected poker game.
The terrifically exciting caper comedy is an adaptation of George V. Higgins same titled pulp novel which has a stunning ensemble including Ray Liotta, Richard Jenkins, Bella Heathcote and in a Sopranos reunion, James Gandolfini and Vincent Curatola. The Weinsteins are due to release the film early in 2012 and by now you all know there's few films I'm looking forward to more on the horizon.
