Robert Englund's comments about
John Carpenter being in talks for a team-up Freddy movie are apparently untrue according to
Bloody Disgusting who spoke with New Line. Also, there are currently no plans for a Freddy prequel, sequel or remake as of right now. New Line are looking at resurrecting the
Friday the 13th franchise though with a remake. That's just about all we know, and we've heard these rumblings for at least two years now. Maybe they are waiting to see how
Rob Zombie'sHalloween goes down before it really kicks into gear? source -
