Furious 7 Review: 15 Reasons It's The Best In The Series

15. It's Easily The Most Action-Packed One

This series somehow seems to find a way to top itself each time. After Fast Five completely reinvented the game and the sixth film somehow managed to equal and in some cases top what came before, Furious 7 serves up even more action than in the previous two films. One of the more noticeable things about the action here is that it's generally much more continuous and uninterrupted than is usual in these movies: the early mountainside chase set in Azerbaijan lasts about 20 unbroken minutes, the Abu Dhabi sequence runs about 15 minutes, and the final blast of parallel action in Los Angeles goes on for about another 20 or 25. That's without even counting the opening fight between Dwayne Johnson and Jason Statham, nor the other mini-shootouts peppered throughout. In fact, there's so much action in this movie that some critics have even called it exhausting, but for the hardcore fans, it's going to be just what they ordered.
