G.I. Joe: Retaliation Red Carpet Interviews - The Rock & More
When G.I. Joe Retaliation had its UK premiere on Monday, at the Empire Leicester Square, What Culture was in attendance to meet all of the big names on the red carpet. Whilst neither Bruce Willis or Channing Tatum didnt make it, movie goers and wrestling fans alike turned out in their droves to see Dwayne The Rock Johnson, who plays Roadblock in the movie, and his action co-stars. The Rock was unquestionably the main attraction and he swaggered the stage like only The Great One can alongside D.J Cotrona, who plays Flint, Adrianne Palicki who plays Lady Jaye, Ray Stevenson who plays Firefly, and Elodie Yung who plays Jinx, all of whom were new to the G.I Joe movie franchise. Returning cast from the first movie G.I. Joe: Rise of the Cobra included Byung Hun Lee who plays Storm Shadow and Jonathan Pryce who returns as the United States President. Also there was director Jon M. Chu, whose previous movies have included Step Up 3D, and Justin Beiber: Never Say Never. This is his first big action movie that hes directed and the spectacle live in the square with dozens of ninjas battling and scaling down buildings on wires gave the fans in attendance a sense of what the movie has to offer. The choreography in this movie will certainly have a bit more impact than the dance based movies the director has made his name with. In Part One of our video coverage I to grab a word with most the cast, as well as a couple of other recognisable faces and ask them the all important question; who would win; the current WWE Champion, The peoples champ, The Rock, or John McClane himself, Bruce Willis? We also find out if Dwayne would be up for swapping the peoples elbow for the peoples light sabre. For Part Two hit the Next button! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gN-RyRHvgYs&feature=youtu.be In Part Two of our video coverage youll see lots more footage from the press conference and Q and A session which I was able to attend and find out loads more about what went into making G.I Joe 3D one of the most bad ass movies of the year. Also in this part the cast give their thoughts on a sequel, The Rock talks about John Cena and Jonathan Pryce continues to be the legend that he is with his dry sense of humour! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=t9_DGfVI7u0&feature=youtu.be
