Wanted is currently filming right now and
Variety have got the scoop on an interesting bit of casting.
Terence Stamp will be in the film, in as yet unknown role. Stamp of course is no stranger to comic book movies. Probably the most memorable role of his career was playing General Zod in
Superman II but more recently he appeared in
Elektra and also had a recurring role as Jor-El in the
Smallville series. Wanted is shaping up nicely and you always know what you get with an actor like Stamp. He has just finished shooting his role in
Peter Segal's movie version of the U.S. show
Get Smart which stars
Steve Carell,
Anne Hathaway,
Alan Arkin and
The Rock and comes out next Summer. Wanted comes out a little before then, with a release at the end of March 2008.
