9. Faithful Action Sequences?

Though that composite image does look rather gross, the rest of the water fight actually looks like it captures the essence of the anime incredibly faithfully.

It cannot be easy to replicate the anime's action sequences in live-action form, but this scene at least provides hope that Sanders is aiming to hew as close as physically possible to the kinetic movement of the source...even if it'll end up a little toned down with that PG-13 rating (sorry, no exploding heads).

The abundance of slow-mo in the trailer is definitely a little disconcerting, but the look of the film at least suggests it won't be a total bust.
