What would the GITS movie be without the presence of the Major's second-in-command and undeniable fan favourite Batou?

He appears in the trailer played by Pilou Asbæk (who you might recognise as Euron Greyjoy from Game of Thrones), and going by the online reaction so far, fans are pretty damn split down the middle on the look of the character and Asbæk's delivery.

Many fans have been campaigning for years for Ron Perlman to land the part, though he's probably about fifteen years too old for it by now. The jury's still out on Asbæk, so we'll just have to wait and see...
