Well, not exactly, but when Ghostbusters: The Video Game was released in 2008, Dan Aykroyd told the media, To me, this is the third movie." This was a fair comment, as the games storyline was original and written by Aykroyd and Ramis, included almost all of the original characters (including Walter Peck, the EPA worker who has no dick) and was, most importantly, a fun experience.
