Ghostbusters 3: 7 Big News Revelations About 2020's Upcoming Sequel

1. The Release, FIlming Dates & Location

One of the key details here is clearly when the film is released. According to the initial announcement, it will hit cinemas on July 10th, 2020.

While the film seems to still be in the scripting process, it shouldn't be too long before we actually start to see some progress on the filming front. According to Damian Petti, the president of film workers’ union, it will film this summer.

The shoot will take place in Calgary and will start around June 25th and will last for 15 weeks. Add to that a fair post-production period for the effects (assuming we aren't getting only practical ghost effects of course) and it's quite a tight turn around.
