Ghostbusters: Ranking Every Character From Worst To Best

15. Rowan North (Neil Casey)

Ghostbusters Abduction
Sony

Easily one of the movie's most disappointing characters is the villainous Rowan, who was kept almost completely out of the movie's marketing, perhaps because Columbia Pictures were aware that he was a weak link.

Rowan is an extremely simplistic villain, a loser who has been bullied his entire life and so decides to become the bully by unleashing paranormal madness on New York City, and eventually growing into the giant, monstrous version of the Ghostbusters logo shown off in the trailer.

Neil Casey does just fine with what he has, but for the most part he's a bland baddie with lame motives, and becomes much more interesting when he transforms into a CGI entity in the film's final stretch. Nothing to see here.
