Patty tries to stop Abby killing Holtzmann, the possessed McCarthy goes full Reagan and does a full 180-degree head spin. Why? Erm... because The Exorcist... But we don't stop that - we actually get to see how this entire set-piece comes to a close. Patty slaps the ghost out of Abby, sending the ethereal form flying out into the New York streets. So clearly possession isn't that big a deal. But we don't even stop there - she keeps hitting Abby, screaming "The power of Patty compels you!" Really? An extended Exorcist joke would have felt a little tapped out in the 1984 original, but here just seems a bit obvious. So that was the Ghostbusters trailer. What did you think of it?
