G.I. JOE gets a cover-girl

Czech supermodel Karolina Isela Kurková is the latest actress to be cast in G.I. JOE.

Fittingly enough, the actress who has modeled for the Victoria Secret Angels ad campaign will play Cover Girl, a highly successful fashion model who found the world of advertising to be mundane, so she joined the army to seek out a new challenge in life and prove she wasn't just a pretty face. Apparently she drives the tank, is that right? It's just another 'out there' choice for what is turning into a very strange production over at Paramount. Why they couldn't have chosen a proper actress who just happens to have supermodel looks (Eva Green, Scarlett Johansson perhaps?) I don't know. HUUUUUUUUUUUUGE cast for this thing right now. Can you remember an action movie like this with so many characters in? source - iesb
