Glass: Full Trailer Unites Bruce Willis, James McAvoy AND Samuel L. Jackson

Shyamalan is low-key starting his own MCU.

Possibly the best idea M. Night Shyalaman has ever had, folding Unbreakable's David Dunn into the close of Split resulted in a truly rapturous audience response.

Of course, it helped that Split was the first genuinely great movie he's done in over a decade, but 2000's Unbreakable is a cult classic-going-on-beloved gem, detailing Bruce Willis' Dunn as someone discovering they have superpowers.

Now in Glass, all roads converge. Unbreakable left Dunn having saved a young girl from being abused, and Split saw James McAvoy's The Horde - a 23-personality being that can transform into a super strength-imbued "beast" - on the run.

The final piece of the puzzle is Mr. Glass himself, Samuel L. Jackson's wheelchair-bound mastermind who - it seems for the sake of giving him a "superpower" - is described as having "an extraordinary IQ".

The trailer shows we're getting even more personalities that didn't get screentime in Split, and clearly McAvoy is having a blast playing children, adults, religious zealots, multiple genders and villains all in one. Willis' Dunn still seems incredibly unsure of his powers, and no doubt there'll be another Shyamalan Twist coming from Glass in the movie's final act.

What do you make of this somewhat extraordinary turn of events?
