2. Anya Taylor-Joy's Return Seems A Bit Forced

Split's female lead Anya Taylor-Joy will reprise her role from Split as Casey Cooke, the young woman who managed to survive The Horde's (James McAvoy) previous assault.

The trailer doesn't make much of an indication as to the nature of her role, though it seems likely that she may be brought in to try and help track down the team of cheerleaders Kevin Wendell Crumb appears to have kidnapped.

Even so, her presence in this trailer does feel a tad forced, because while Casey's story definitely had some loose threads left hanging, few fans will want to see her getting involved in the superhero grudge match between Crumb and David Dunn (Bruce Willis).

Granted, it's possible that Casey will only have a cameo role in the film and be kept well away from the superhero slug-fest everyone paid their money to see, but even so, she basically feels thrown in here just because. We'll reserve full judgement for now, though.
