It's clear from earlier on in the trailer that Rodan gets pestered by some military fighter jets almost immediately after awakening from his slumber, and as he flies away from his volcano home, he starts swatting the jets out of the air and flying into them with reckless abandon.

I mean, that's kinda what you deserve when you wake up a prehistoric creature that really didn't wanna be woken up, no?
