Golden Raspberry Awards 2015: Predicting The "Winners" In Each Category

2. Worst Picture - Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles

Also nominated: Left Behind, Transformers: Age Of Extinction, The Legend Of Hercules, Kirk Cameron's Saving Christmas Left Behind, a film based on Christian end times theories, was never going to turn out any good, especially when considering that it was directed by an ex-stuntman. Likewise, directors Renny Harlin and Michael Bay have long since given up on bothering to craft decent movies, preferring instead to mine familiar franchise/remake territory in the hopes of earning a quick buck. Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, however, could so easily have turned out to be a much better movie, and the fact that it ended up as awful as it did makes it more deserving of the Worst Picture Razzie than the others. Audiences might have got what they were expecting if they were foolish enough to check out the other Worst Picture nominations, but the travesty that was Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles could so easily have been avoided, which is far less forgivable.
