Although most of the links on the FindAmazingAmy website are to the usual social media pages (Facebook, Twitter and Google+), one takes you to something a little more exciting; Amy Dunne's Pinterest page. Featuring an array of albums that further push her facade life, it makes for an enlightening look; there's pictures of The Bar's drinks range and a collections of pins "For Nick". This page really helps push the misdirection in the audience eyes; it all perpetrates an ordinary girl, making Nick seem even more suspicious. But looking through it after the film, with full knowledge this is just another part of her scheme, gives it all a more chilling sheen. Since release the page has got even more interesting; in the days since Gone Girl's release excerpts from Amy's (fake) diary have been uploaded, allowing us to read with the same obsession as Detective Boney.
