Guardians Of The Galaxy - 8 Easter Eggs Hidden In The New Trailer

1. An Infinity Stone

The most important Easter egg is the presence of an Infinity Stone, which Quill is seen finding at the beginning of the trailer. The fact that he immediately has to hand it over to Korath isn't good, because Thanos is seeking all of the Infinity Gems. Whoever possesses all six gems in the Infinity Gauntlet gains omnipotence, omniscience, omnipresense, and God-like power, granting them absolute dominion over the universe. We've already seen two Infinity Gems in the Marvel cinematic universe, the Tesseract (in Captain America: The First Avenger and The Avengers) and the Aether (Thor: The Dark World). Fans have been debating which stones are which, as each gem holds a different kind of power. The six stones are: Soul, Power, Time, Space, Mind, and Reality. The stone in this film is the orb that Quill has in his possession that Ronan the Accuser is so fervently hunting him down for, so expect it to play a major part of the proceedings here. We may also finally learn more about the Stones in this film, since so far it's the movie most tied with what's going on with Thanos (who up until now we've only seen in the post-credits tease from The Avengers). So, there are eight Easter eggs and comic book references we found in the Guardians of the Galaxy trailer. What are your thoughts on what we found? Have you been able to find more?
