4. Possible Appearance Or Reference to Thanos
Ever since the after credits sequence in the original revealing Thanos, the villain's appearance in The Avengers sequel is highly anticipated. Given the elements and the circumstances of Guardians Of The Galaxy, it is possible Thanos will either appear or be referenced to at least. The character could have a role such as he did in The Avengers where he was associated with the main villain of the film, Loki. Thanos supplied Loki with a Chitauri army that was defeated by the Avengers and he could play a similar role in Guardians Of The Galaxy. Thanos' involvement in the movie would only heighten the reputation of the character because he would be a threat to an entire galaxy. Even if Thanos is not referenced to or does not appear in the film, Guardians Of The Galaxy will be the last film that is in continuity with the rest of the Marvel movies that comprises phase two of the Marvel Cinematic Universe before The Avengers sequel. That is enough of a reason to be excited for Guardians Of The Galaxy.
